A French Fantasy

  1. Oh Victoria! This is so silly. You'll get to go someday!

I need your help though. I don't know why I think you will know this, but I have these flowers and for some reason I keep thinking you might know what they are!? I don't have any idea why I think you specifically will know...it was just a shot in the dark. Here's my post: http://yellowbirdyellowbeard.blogspot.com/2011/03/im-gettin-my-butt-kicked-over-here.html

  2. PRECIOUS friend, I cannot tell you how exhilarating it was for me to tour France with my husband eight years ago. It is like a fairy tale...and I will be posting on this subject soon. Yes, the castles, the parks, the aroma of lavender in the air in the South of France, the FOOD everywhere, the markets, the sounds, all what a fairytale is made up of. One day dearest, ONE DAY, if only for a week, you must go. Thank you for this lovely moment of repose as I am on my lunch break. Bisous, Anita

  4. Absolutely breath taking! I'm so jealous. Thanks so much for sharing your sister's pictures so we could dream along with you.

  5. Great pictures! I was born and lived my childhood in France and Germany. So for me France is just a normal place. Crazy right? But if it is your cherished dream to go there and visit(maybe live there!) then I wish for it to come true. Sometimes you just have to take the plunge and do it. Put other stuff on the back burner and rearrange everything else. You must make your dream a priority. None of us know how much time we have left so go for it! That's what my mom always tells my dad. I'm sure you can find a way.
    may your wish come true,
    Caroline

  6. Thanks for the visit, Victoria! I raced right over! I loved all three of your Paris postings, but this one really had me sighing into my morning coffee! What a lovely set of images, and so nice that they were taken by your sister. I know you will get there someday, and it doesn't have to break the bank. I'll be posting the itinerary of our Normandy trip this summer soon, so I hope you will come back.
Your Etsy looks cool! Thanks again for the morning inspiration.
    Bisous,
    Dawne
