White Christmas Dreams

Here are some close-up shots of my pretty things.
I had a bit of fun with them in PhotoStudio.
The wonderful photos from
'A Fanciful Twist' were my inspiration.

A Rose Garden wreath
was created easily enough
with a few bunches of inexpensive
fabric roses.  After heat treating each flower,
to create a more crinkled effect on the petals,
I hot glued them onto a
simple cane wreath..and then I poured a
watered down white wash
of acrylic paint over them.

Glittery fabric hearts were simply
stuffed firmly and then I drew some
swirls over the front with 'kindy glitz'.

The sparkly baubles above,
started life as styrofoam balls
from a craft shop.
The addition of sequins and beads
held in place with glue and pins,
transformed them into elegant decorations.

This beautiful wreath
was made the same way as
the Rose Garden wreath.
This time I used artificial
Poinsettia and Hydrangea
flowers.
I also added some glitter around
the edges of some of the Hydrangea petals,
and sprayed the whole wreath
with a light coating of glitter.

The inspiration of Vanessa's is quite obvious - you've done a marvelous job with yours! I keep trying to find a program to do that, and just can't seem to come up with it! LOL

Thanks so much for stopping by and saying hi at Enchanted Revelries. Best wishes for a joyous holiday!

(and I'm going to give your heat treated/white washed flowers a try in the new year! They're lovely!)
