As far as the eye can see

A ride in one of the world's fastest elevators,
up to the very top of Q1, the World's Tallest Residential Tower...
pretty cool!
Jill, Ellie and I drove down to Surfers Paradise for 'High Tea '
(of sorts) on level 77
(so it was actually very 'High'!)
where the views from QDeck are fantastic!

Above: Ellie enjoyed the toasted club sandwiches which were chock full of yummy ham, chicken, egg, lettuce cheese and tomato...yum!
We even saw dolphins out in the ocean.
The cars and people looked so very tiny, as we looked down out the windows.

Above: The view extends all the way to Byron Bay.

Above: Q1

After a short walk through Surfers,
we stopped in at the children's play area on the Broadwater,
where Ellie liked climbing on the colourful giant geckos.

By the time we set off for home,
Ellie was all tuckered out, and slept most of the way.

Our entry pass lasts for 6 months,
so we will be back to view from QDeck again...
I'd like to see the sights on dark with all the night lights, or a sunset.
