Moss carpet

Our Bali Garden area has a carpet of beautiful green moss. It just decided to grow itself there some time ago. We started with a layer of left over bricks when we built the house, and laid them over the then muddy clay. Turns out, it is the perfect enviroment for the moss and a zillion little ferns which constantly grow themselves from spores in the holes of the bricks. I occasionally pull them all out...only to find that they are back again soon after. Anyway, the carpet of moss is lovely and soft to walk on and is slowly spreading itself to cover the bricks. Very nice with bare feet.
