Apparently, there was a need to get the boat wet today, and try out some new and old lures. So John and I spent the day on Somerset Dam. Although the day turned quite hazy, it was mostly very nice. John even tried his old 'Floppy' lure, until it got snagged. After retrieving it he then decided to stay with the newer lures. The old 'Foppy' is supposed to be very valuable, as the mold that was used to make them, no longer exists. Some on the interweb are selling for hundreds of dollars...apparently.
On the way home we called in at that huge antiques shop in Esk. It is so much fun to browse through, as they have a large collection of furniture and coloured glass.
After the hours spent enjoying the 'boy bling'...it was only fair that we spend fifteen minutes wandering through the many rooms of this surprising shop. Very nice...but dear as poison.
