And so this is Christmas...2010

So lucky to have
two nights of Christmas.
Christmas Eve...
and Christmas Evening.

Our three little granddaughters
each recieved
from Santa at the North Pole.
I can share this small snapshot of this sweet experience with you, as I took some shots of Elliana in front of the computer, listening to her message. It was quite a lengthy conversation, but here is a tiny portion...

Santa: "Oh, hello Ellie. It's me, Santa. Welcome to my office. I'm so happy you came by. What do you say we look at your file, huh?"

Santa: "Ellie,..."
Elliana: "Yes?"

Santa: "I see here that you have been a very good little girl. Santa is very very proud of you."

Santa: "Ellie, I hope you will have a wonderful Christmas. Remember to be good, kind and generous. Santa's counting on you. Ho ho ho, goodbye Ellie! Merry Christmas! Ho ho ho ho!"
Elliana: "Goodbye Santa, Merry Christmas!"

Ham off the bone, fresh prawns and salad.
Yummy!
Followed by the cream & fruit covered pavlova.
Double yummy!!

Above: Samantha and Ellie playing in the Faerie Room.

This Christmas would have to rank
as the best ever!
Good food - family - and shared faith.
I hope your Christmas
was just as wonderful,
for you and your family.

Thanks for stopping by!

  1. VICTORIA! THAT was the cutest, the most adorable moment I have yet to see in Blogland, and of course, there are so many lovely messages out there.....but to see Ellie's face while Santa was talking to her was just precious! TEEEHEEEE! AND YOUR HOME....AND YOUR FOOD! WOOOOOOOO! You certainly had a lovely time. We did too, and now, I will experience yet another week off until I return back to my classroom.

I am wishing you a FABULOUS 2011 and may we continue to enjoy each others' worlds to draw inspiration and friendship.

    BONNE JOURNEE!!! Anita
